What is NYLONEX™?

NYLONEX™ is a next-generation thermoplastic material based on amorphous polyamide with unique properties, manufactured by the prestigious Swiss company EMS. The material combines aliphatic and cyclo-aliphatic monomers to create a unique molecular structure that provides exceptional resistance to extreme weather, heat, cold, and mechanical impacts.While the technical name of the material is TR90 NZZ, we chose to give it the commercial name NYLONEX™ to reflect the uniqueness and excellence of our products.

NYLONEX™ glasses are exceptionally resistant to impacts and breaking. The material is flexible and absorbs energy without cracking or breaking. Of course, like any product, extreme use may cause damage, but its resistance is significantly higher than traditional materials.
NYLONEX™ has good scratch resistance, but like all glasses - it's recommended to store them in a soft case and clean with a microfiber cloth.
You can use lukewarm water, mild soap, and a soft cloth. The material is resistant to most cleaning products, but it's recommended to avoid strong solvents.
Absolutely! The material is hypoallergenic, lightweight, and very durable - perfect for active children.
Both materials are identical in mechanical and optical properties. The main difference is that the BIO-GREEN version contains up to 54% renewable raw materials from the castor plant and reduces the carbon footprint by 75%. Both versions meet the same high quality standards
With proper care, a NYLONEX™ frame can last many years without losing its mechanical or aesthetic properties. The material does not deteriorate over time under normal use conditions.
No. Although the material is made from renewable sources, it is not biodegradable. This is a positive feature - your glasses won't decompose during use! At end of life, they can be recycled into new products.
